You Look Like a Million Bucks!
That was just one of the many comments I heard following the Macy’s fashion show to benefit Dress for Success. But who wouldn’t look like a million bucks wearing an Ivanka Trump dress, Coach shoes and a Michael Kors purse dangling from their arm?
When one of the guests commented, ‘you look like a million bucks’, I immediately thought that is most likely the way the clients of Dress for Success feel when they are outfitted with a gently used suit, shoes and accessories.
It’s important to look and feel your best whether you are headed for the runway or an interview to land your next job. On Point Executive Center has been collecting suits for over a decade and has donated over 1,000 to date. Suits, dresses, shoes and accessories are dropped off all throughout the year and then picked up by a representative from Dress for Success. They use the clothing to suit their clients and sell any excess at their annual sale. All proceeds benefit the administration of the organization. ***If you have womens business clothes you would like to donate to the organization, drop them off at our office 3030 N. Rocky Point Drive W., #150, Tampa 33607.
I’ve had the pleasure of walking the runway for The Dress for Success Shopping Soiree 3 years in a row. Each year I have witnessed the event grow larger in size, sponsorships, attendance and audience fun! Be sure to look for the 2017 event invitation early as this is typically a SOLD OUT event.
