This blog has previously explored what makes Florida such a great place to host your business, but the situation is continuously improving for business owners in the Sunshine State. Especially in the Tampa area, government and business organizations are currently working to provide organizations with more resources to find success in their industries.
Recently, four of the area's largest networks for entrepreneurs have partnered in order to provide small-to-midsize organizations new means of improving their business strategy, marketing and sales, HR policies, accounting practices and more.
Below are the four organizations that have entered into a partnership and a brief description of the services they offer, according to the Orlando Business Journal:
- The Florida Virtual Entrepreneur Center: A free online web portal that guides business owners to local and state resources for new businesses
- The Small Business Resource Network: Provides networking opportunities and offers free access to accountants, attorneys, and business consultants
- GrowFL: Offers sales and marketing strategy assistance to growing companies
- The National Entrepreneur Center: Hosts business seminars and offers online training from experts
Tom O'Neal, executive director of the University of Central Florida Business Incubation Program, wrote in a statement that all four "are all in a unique position to help startup and second-stage businesses thrive." And that now that the partnership has been formalized, he added, "Together, their new partnership will have a stronger impact than any one organization can have on its own."
